Our Fabric
We have chosen to focus on the use of a single fabric that we can be confident with meet the high standards we have for our bags. And boy what an amazing fabric it is!
Each bag is made with Challenge’s EcoPak EPL150, which is a laminate (100% Recycled) Polyester technical fabric, which that is impressively durable and tear resistant, while remaining lightweight.
This fabric also affords us the ability to utilize dye sublimation technology to customize the pattern used with each bag. As a result, we can offer a fabric that is high performing, and infinitely customizable visually.

The EPX400 uses a 45 degree Blue CrossPly and a 70d ripstop backing that provides the structure that you want, without the added weight.

This 400 denier fabric is heavy duty with almost twice the abrasion resistance of a 420d nylon.

While the bags we make are highly water resistant, the EcoPak fabric we use is itself Waterproof, providing a great amount of water ingress protection to the contents of your bag.

Each linear yard of EcoPak material is created from over 20 plastic bottles and reduces CO2 emissions by over 1 lb!

Thorough rigorous testing, we have developed a process for creating crisp and vibrant patterns on EPX400 using dye sublimation. This process transfers ink to the fabric, giving photorealistic quality, without any physical film on the surface, like a cheap TShirt (see image below).
Patterns
We print the unique pattern on the fabric for each bag when you order it. This means that anything you can dream up, we can create for you! Check out some of our current available patterns below.
When you design your bag, you’ll also have the option to upload a photo of any pattern you would like to have printed onto the exterior of your bag.
